What is the cost?
Concessions are available for veterans

Individuals
The first session is £35.00 thereafter sessions are £40.00. Evening sessions (after 5.30pm) are £45.00
Couples
First individual sessions are £40.00 subsequent sessions are £65.00 per couple
How Long are sessions?
The first session is for an hour. This gives you an opportunity to talk about what is happening in your life, what you would like from your counselling sessions and to establish whether you feel comfortable for us to continue working together. For individuals all further sessions last 50 minutes, for couples sessions are for 1 hour
How long will I need to come for counselling?
The decision over how many sessions to come for will be yours. You may choose to finish whenever you want to but ending will usually be agreed on between us, when it feels the time is right. Some clients have specific issues and feel ready to end sessions after weeks or months. Others may come for much longer.
How often are sessions?
Usually I see clients once a week. Sessions are booked out to you at the same time on the same day each week.
What happens if I miss a session or if I'm late?
Sessions are by appointment therefore they begin and end on time. If you are late you will still have the remaining scheduled time of your session. 48 hours notice is required if you are unable to make your session. If this notice is not given the full fee is payable. In extraordinairy circumstances exceptions may be made.
When do you work?
Weekdays and some evenings by appointment
Is it confidential?
I work in accordance with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy using their guidelines for Ethics and Good Practice. This requires that confidentiality is maintained. Exceptional cases are those in which you or someone else were deemed to be at risk or where there is a legal obligation. Even in these exceptional cases the matter, where possible, would be discussed with you before any course of action were to be decided upon.
Supervision
Sessions are for one hour the first is £30.00 thereafter sessions are £40.00
